On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Region and the Portland Host Committee, The 59th Annual Meeting under the leadership of Dan Gearan from University of Southern Maine and Gordon Cheesman from Colby College promises to be one of the premier educational events of the 2009 fall season.
I want to welcome you to the ERAPPA Annual Meeting website. This year promises to be another exciting year with ERAPPA.
The educational program at an ERAPPA event is always interesting, informative, and extremely relevant to the challenges that we face on a daily basis. This year we will include two new programs from APPA in the Annual Meeting; the EFP certification and the Supervisors Toolkit.
The certification program and the Toolkit are direct responses to our members to keep them current as well an opening for long-time members to invite new colleagues/coworkers to experience ERAPPA.
Portland, Maine, while a major metropolitan area, retains all of the quaint charm of a New England town. I hope you will take the time to visit the many sights in and near the city.
Once done visiting this site I would encourage you to visit the ERAPPA website www.erappa.org to see the numerous opportunities there are to get involved at the chapter and regional level, as well as visit the education database and opportunities for scholarships.
