Utilities/Energy Wind Power - Reducing Campus Energy Costs at the University of Maine, Presque Isle * James Wilson, P.E., Woodard & Curran Woodard & Curran worked with the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) to realize their vision of a working wind turbine on campus. The 600 kW turbine went online in May of 2009. This presentation is a beginner's introduction to the various phases of implementing a similar project. |
